How to Find Area of Triangle Without an Altitude

Heron's formula is used to find the area of a triangle when the altitude is not known. The first part of Heon's formula is calculating "S" The next step is to take "S" and plug it into the area formula. The video works out an example problem. Heron's formula looks complicated but is is really pretty easy to use.
